We’re very happy to welcome new singers at any time. Come along to a rehearsal or one of our performances, have a chat and see if it's for you!

 

We're a non-auditioned, performing choir, but you can take the learning at your own pace. While we aim for high standards, it’s all about having fun and making the best sound that we can together.​ We perform several times throughout the year, but you are not required to sign up for every performance, or come to every rehearsal.

What do you sing?

Classical, gospel, pop, musical theatre - we do a bit of all of it. Meanwhile Christmas is a mix of traditional carols and more contemporary music.

What are rehearsals like?

Above all, rehearsals are fun! We work hard, but we also laugh a lot.

We start with a warm up, then move into tackling whatever new music we're working on. Every rehearsal also features a tea, chat and biscuit break (very important), and a run- through of some of our older repertoire, just to keep it feeling familiar.

Do I need to read music or know my voice part?

No, there is no need to be able to read music - some of us do, some don't.
We provide both sheet music and recordings of all the parts, so you can learn however best suits you.
You're welcome to try out different voice parts (soprano, alto, tenor, bass etc) until you find the section you're most comfortable in.
 

When do you rehearse?

Tuesday evenings, 7pm-9pm.

We take a summer break through August and a short break at Christmas and Easter. There is no commitment to be here every week, so don't worry if you need to take some time off.

Find us at  MediaCityUK, Salford Quays,  at the GoChurch building.

How much does it cost?
 

£25 per month, concessionary rate £20.
