Ordsall Acappella Singers are a non-auditioned, performing choir, but you can take the learning and singing at your own pace. While we aim for high standards, it’s all about having fun and the best sound that we can make together.​ We perform several times throughout the year and we will let you know in advance when these times are, but you are not required to sign up for every performance, or come to every rehearsal.

When do you rehearse?
We rehearse  on Tuesday evenings,  7pm-9pm. We take a summer break through August and have a short break at Christmas and Easter. There is no commitment to be here every week, so don't worry if you need to take some time off.

Find us at  MediaCityUK, Salford Quays,  at the GoChurch building.

This is a non-denominational space with no religious icons.

Do I need to read music?

No, there is no need to be able to read music. You can learn by ear and with the backing track, although over time, you will start to recognise the shape of the music on the page in front of you and start to get an idea of how things work.  Our MD will always guide you through the use of music.

How much does it cost?

It costs £25 a month to be a member of the choir, concessionary rate  £20 a month. 

This covers music costs, our professional MD and rehearsal venue costs. 

However, if you are unable to pay this amount, please contact us directly as we are committed to providing this service for everyone, regardless of their circumstances.
